Alabama football has a new coachDeBoer is set to join Chris Stewart, the radio voice of the Crimson Tide, at about 6:35 p.m. CT for about 30 minutes. DeBoer’s wife Nicole and two daughters, Alexis and Avery, are in attendance for the show. “It’s good to see them as always. This is one of those times we get to be around each other” DeBoer said laughing. “I wouldn’t be able to go into the office and pour into the guys like I do without their support.”
DeBoer highlighted that he saw “a lot of great ways to do things” while working with four head coaches before he got his first head coaching job. DeBoer on DeVonta Smith: “He’s been great ... he brings great speed, a high motor, a lot of want to.” “These guys can all sling it,” DeBoer said. He praised the work ethics of the four quarterbacks too. “You go sit in the quarterback room right now, it’s a lot of fun.”
Milroe said his next goal is to get his master’s degree this season after he graduated this past December.DeBoer said Milroe holds himself accountable all the time, “sometimes almost too much,” DeBoer joked.
