15th Women’s College World Series is set to begin Thursday at Devon Park in Oklahoma City. The Crimson Tide, theThe game was scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. CT, the first game of the WCWS. The event is set for a late start after a weather delay, due to lightning in the area.
The Crimson Tide caught fire after the SEC Tournament to begin its run to the WCWS. Alabama won the Tuscaloosa regional, before heading to Knoxville for the super regional.-- As of 11:43 a.m., the grounds crew is removing the tarp at Devon Park in Oklahoma City. -- Shortly after removal, rain began again and the crew placed the tarp back over the infield, but then slid it off again.-- Players for both teams are warming up on the field.
