A 'suspicious package' has been discovered outside a property, Lancashire Police have said. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team is arriving at the scene and a police cordon remains in place in the street in Preston.
A Lancashire Police statement said: "We currently have a cordon in place in Watling Street Road, Fulwood. This was following a report that a suspicious package had been found outside a property.The public have been told to avoid the area as a precaution while the police deal with the incident.We currently have a cordon in place in Watling Street Road, Fulwood.Our Explosive Ordnance Disposal colleagues are on their way and we would ask that people avoid the area as a precaution.
