A number of diversions are in place
Sefton Council said road closures are in place. It comes after a "substance" spilled on the road at around 1pm today, Monday, April 22.
According to traffic management system Inrix, the A5058 Millers Bridge eastbound is closed and there is heavy traffic due to spillage from A565 Derby Road to B5090 Oriel Road.A spokesperson for Sefton Council said: "Due to a substance spillage at Millers Bridge, there are multiple road closures around the area. Please tune into local traffic and travel news for the latest updates, and follow the diversion signage supplied.
