The latest Liverpool transfer news as 21-year-old Tyler Morton is reportedly attracting summer interest across the continent
Tyler Morton has reportedly caught the eye of RB Leipzig and other European clubs, who are eyeing the Liverpool midfielder for a permanent summer transfer.
His first spell away from the club was with Blackburn Rovers, turning out 46 times for the Lancashire club, then last season he enjoyed playing a pivotal role in the engine room of Liam Rosenior's Hull City side, who narrowly missed out on the play-offs. The Liverpool loanee's exploits were recognised when he picked up the division's young player of the month award in December.
Spearheading the movement are RB Leipzig, who are no stranger to business with Anfield chiefs. Last summer the two clubs negotiated the £60m transfer of Dominik Szoboszlai, followed by the not-so successful loan of Fabio Carvalho. It is said 'virtually every' Championship club would like to take Morton on loan for the season ahead also, however it is now the player's wish to progress his career at the next level. He last renewed his Liverpool contract in January 2023, and his exit is expected to depend on the club's assessment of valuation, Slot's perceptions once pre-season training is underway and finally Morton's own intentions.
