Liverpool have named their squad for the opening Champions League stage which begins at AC Milan on Tuesday week
Liverpool have confirmed a 24-man squad for the forthcoming new-look Champions League opening stage. The six-time winners are back in the competition following a year's absence having finished third in the Premier League last season. The Reds open the revamped league stage - where the 36 qualified teams play eight different opponents - with a trip to AC Milan on Tuesday week in a repeat of the 2005 and 2007 finals.
