The defender has had a tough 12 months but says he is delighted to secure a year-long temporary exit from Liverpool.
Liverpool have confirmed that defender Calvin Ramsay has joined League One club Wigan Athletic on loan for the whole of the 2024/25 season.
The 20-year-old Scotland international says he is “over the moon” with securing a loan to Wigan and hopes that he can start afresh after a trying 12 months. He said: “It happened quickly and I met the manager two weeks ago. Ramsey has played twice for Liverpool’s senior side, making his cameo debut in a 2-0 Champions League home win over Napoli on November 1, 2022.
