Liverpool forward Harvey Blair has completed a permanent move to Championship side Portsmouth
Harvey Blair has become the latest youngster to make a permanent departure from Liverpool after joining Portsmouth. The 20-year-old forward has moved to the Championship side in a deal worth £300,000 plus add-ons based on performance. Liverpool have also negotiated a 20% sell-on clause for Blair, who had been at the club's Academy in Kirkby since under-12 level.
Blair was elevated to the U21 set-up in 2022/23 and made two appearances in the EFL Trophy, but last season managed just one start in Premier League 2 having missed the first few months with a knee complaint. The youngster was named by current Liverpool head coach Arne Slot in the squad for last month's US tour, and featured from the bench in the wins over Real Betis, Arsenal and Manchester United, along with the goalless draw against Las Palmas at Anfield a fortnight ago.
