Tyler Morton has impressed while out on loan in recent seasons and could play in Liverpool's problem position
Liverpool are satisfied with their current holding midfield options, even if the jury arguably remains out beyond Anfield’s walls.
Consequently, despite Fabinho and Henderson’s struggles in the Reds’ engine room last year, there remains an air of uncertainty regarding the club’s deeper options. The fact that Endo struggled at Toulouse, Mac Allister is suspended for Sunday’s home clash with Brentford, and Liverpool travel to Man City immediately after the November international break will have done little to soothe such uneasiness in the fanbase.

That form has not gone unnoticed, ensuring the 21-year-old remained on the cusp of international recognition. More than once he has been on the standby list for Lee Carsley’s England Under-21s squad.
“Tyler’s a player that we know all about,” Under-21s manager Lee Carsley told reporters after naming his squad ahead of the November international break. “We had him involved with us last campaign.
