Liverpool have a number of players injured going into a crucial time of the season
Kostas Tsimikas is an injury doubt for Liverpool's games with Newcastle United and Everton next week after appearing at Anfield before Sunday's clash with Manchester City on crutches and wearing a protective boot. The Greece international has been regularly rotated with Andy Robertson at left-back all season, making 11 appearances so far during Arne Slot's 20 games as head coach.
Top-level players routinely use such protective measures when suffering ankle problems but the setback could be serious enough to rule him out of another major week in the Premier League for the leaders.
