Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has avoided a serious hamstring problem after being replaced early against Aston Villa on Saturday
Liverpool have received a fitness boost with Trent Alexander-Arnold having avoided serious injury after being forced off early against Aston Villa at the weekend. But the right-back faces a race against time to be available for the Reds' blockbusting double header against Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Alexander-Arnold, though, hasn't been ruled out of Liverpool's next Premier League game at rock-bottom Southampton on Sunday, November 24. Liverpool follow that with a home Champions League game against Real Madrid before entertaining Premier League champions Manchester City the next weekend. The Reds currently stand five points clear of City at the top of the table.
