Many airports around the world have been hit by the glitch
Liverpool Airport bosses have given an update to all passengers amid a global IT outage that is causing major issues. Ryanair and other airlines have been impacted by the technical glitch. A post on X, formerly Twitter , from the airport's official account reads: 'A worldwide IT outage is affecting check-in at Liverpool John Lennon Airport and some airlines have reverted to a manual check-in process.
' In a separate update, a Liverpool John Lennon Airport spokesperson told the ECHO : “It is having an impact. Some of the airlines are facing challenges at check in, so they’re reverting to manual check in. We’ve had one delay so far, but that’s a Ryanair flight delayed coming in from Dublin to Liverpool. “There are some issues with car parking, but again we’re reverting to a manual system.
