A person has been hit by a train causing delays to a Liverpool Lime Street service. An update from Northern Rail states: 'Trains are returning to normal following a person hit by a train between Stafford and Lichfield Trent Valley. As service recovers, trains between Stafford and Rugby may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised until approximately 14.
