Liverpool have named just 19 players in the squad that flies out to Girona for the Champions League fixture on Tuesday night
Alisson Becker has been named in the Liverpool squad that will be hosted by Girona in the Champions League on Tuesday evening but Diogo Jota misses out, despite training on Monday afternoon. Arne Slot and his players flew out to Spain on Monday afternoon with Brazil international Alisson in tow but Portugal star Jota will remain on Merseyside to continue his recovery process.
Injuries to Conor Bradley, Ibrahima Konate and Kostas Tsimikas have limited the options defensively, while Alexis Mac Allister is suspended. Tyler Morton had been primed to travel before a knock in training ruled him out and Federico Chiesa is ill, meaning he is unable to build on his hour-long cameo for the Under-21s last week against FC Nordsjaelland, a game he scored in. Despite training with his colleagues on Monday, Jota has not flown as he awaits the green light for involvement once more.
