The biggest revelation of the weekend was about what Liverpool could do with the money they receive for Mohamed Salah, should the club ultimately cash in on Saudi Arabian interest. According to the Mirror, Bayern Munich's Leroy Sane would be the answer. It would take a club record offer, but the 27-year-old is being considered nonetheless says the latest report.
Interestingly, any agreement would result in rivals Manchester City pocketing a chunk of the fee Liverpool pay. The sold Sane to Bayern in 2020, so would be entitled to a bonus through a 10 percent sell-on clause, as per the Manchester Evening News. In 135 appearances for City he returned 39 goals and 46 assists, whilst in Bavaria his current total is 45 goals and 37 assists in 144 matches. Across his career the German has scored four goals against Jurgen Klopp's men.
