Premier League clubs spent nearly £410m on player agent fees over the last 12-month period with Liverpool one of the highest contributors
Liverpool spent the fourth-highest amount on player agent fees over the period between February 1, 2023, and February 1, 2024, but notably spent considerably less than struggling Chelsea.
Other significant buys included £35m splashed on Brighton and Hove Albion's Alexis Mac Allister, £34.3m on Bayern Munich's Ryan Gravenberch and just £16.25m spent on Stuttgart's Wataru Endo. Liverpool eventually swerved a huge fee for Moises Caicedo after being embroiled in a bidding war with Chelsea who spent an eye-watering £115m on the Ecuadorian.Despite missing out on the Brighton defensive midfielder, the Reds ultimately paid £31.
