Liverpool are said to be keeping tabs on Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens, who is also being watched by both Chelsea and Tottenham
Liverpool have sent scouts to monitor Jamie Bynoe-Gittens as interest in the Borussia Dortmund star grows. The 20-year-old winger has become the latest English prospect to thrive in the Bundesliga after leaving Manchester City in 2020 , despite initial injury setbacks and the Covid-19 pandemic. Bynoe-Gittens has enjoyed a strong start to the new season, scoring both of Dortmund's goals in their opening-day victory against Eintracht Frankfurt and another brace in the Champions League .
Bynoe-Gittens progressed through the academy ranks at Manchester City after joining them as a teenager following a stint at Reading. He left the Premier League champions without making a senior appearance, in a move reminiscent of Jadon Sancho. Liverpool's interest in Bynoe-Gittens, who primarily plays on the left wing for Dortmund, could suggest they are preparing for life after Luis Diaz, who is rumoured to have some high-profile admirers himself.
