Liverpool return to Women's Super League action on Sunday against Leicester City at Prenton Park
Liverpool midfielder Ceri Holland will miss this weekend's clash with Leicester City as she continues her recovery from a calf injury.
"She won’t be fit for this weekend but she’ll probably be fit next week," the Liverpool boss said. "That’s positive news. "Missy Bo was unlucky not to start the last game ," Beard said. "She’s done well for us up front but she’s a great player. She’s really excelled in the England Under-23 camps. Obviously being captain there as well has given her that extra bit of responsibility and she’s done really well. Right-back Emma Koivisto is also a doubt for the Leicester clash, having undergone a scan on her hamstring on Friday, while striker Leanne Kiernan is still "a couple of weeks" away from selection. However, Beard's ranks will be bolstered by the return of Shanice van de Sanden to the matchday squad, with the winger yet to feature for the Reds this season.
