Mikel Arteta says Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are 'progressing well' in their recovery from injuries ahead of Arsenal's top-of-the-table Premier League clash against Liverpool on Sunday. Odegaard has missed the Gunners' last five Premier League games after suffering ankle ligament damage when on international duty with Norway in September, while Saka limped out of England's Nations League defeat to Greece earlier this month.
But the fixture will come too soon for Odegaard, which could harm his chances of proving his fitness for Sunday's Premier League mouthwatering clash at the Emirates Stadium. 'They are closer. Both are progressing well,' said Arteta on Monday. 'Martin is not fit. With Bukayo let’s see how he is with the training session later on.
