Liverpool have rejected an opening verbal bid from Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad to sign Mohamed Salah, it has been reported.
Al Ittihad have been increasingly interested in signing Salah as the transfer window has progressed, with the Saudi Arabian giants keen to add marquee players to their squad.
Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante and Fabinho have all joined the club already, but attention has now turned to Salah., the Reds quickly turned down Al Ittihad's opening approach, which was submitted on Thursday evening.Ornstein revealed that the verbal bid from Al Ittihad was worth £100 million plus 'substantial add-ons'.
But while the offer was rejected by Liverpool, who say Salah is not for sale, the Saudi Pro League still believe they can convince the Reds to sell their star player.
