A Liverpool bar has had a festive makeover in time for Christmas
. Sensation, based on Seel Street in the city centre , describes itself as Liverpool's “number one rooftop bar”. For Christmas , the owners of the Ropewalks bar wanted to make it appealing to visit during the colder weather . As a result it has been transformed into a “magical winter wonderland” where guests can sip on mulled wine, alcohol-fuelled hot chocolate and Christmas -inspired cocktails.
Christmas cocktails also include a salted caramel espresso martini and a white Russian made up of vodka, Disaronno Velvet and whole milk. Meanwhile Sensation’s winter bramble is a mix of gin, creme de cassis, fresh lemon juice and tonic water. Sarah Cavanagh, owner and director of Sensation, said: “Sensation is so lucky to have an amazing rooftop space right in the heart of the city centre.
