Liverpool are being linked with a new striker and a right-back with the latest transfer rumour mill. The Reds have less than a month to wait before the January transfer window opens and are then able to make new signings. Federico Chiesa and Giorgi Mamardashvili were the only two signings for Liverpool last summer. Mamardashvili is spending the season on loan at Valencia, while Chiesa is still working his way back to full fitness.
The report claims that Liverpool have 'sounded out' Pedro as a potential target as they prepare for the window opening in the New Year. The striker has scored four goals in eight appearances for the Seagulls this season, most notably against Manchester United, Arsenal and Man City. There have been no suggestions of a potential price tag that Brighton would demand for Pedro. The 23-year-old moved to the Amex Stadium in the summer of 2023 for a reported fee of around £30 million.
