Video footage shows passengers hastily exiting Liverpool Street station in London following an evacuation. Reports indicate a suspicious package prompted the evacuation, leading to confusion and delays. Passengers were instructed to move away from the main hall and wait outside while authorities investigated the situation.
Video shared with The Sun shows people moving quickly to get out of one of the upper entrances, before gathering outside.He said there was "plenty of confusion" and it wasn't until he finally got onto his train later that the announcer said it was due to a " suspicious package ".He said he arrived at Liverpool Street after work at around 6.15pm and within 10 or 15 minutes the disruption started.
"The main hall was jam packed full of people - and I think at that point they'd already started cancelling trains." He described the atmosphere as "pretty calm", adding: "People were on their phones and no one really knew what was going on.He waited outside the station but was able to get on his train after only a 15 minute delay.Liverpool Street station completely evacuated as I was about to hop on the train home.
