The Reds will host Brian Sorensen's side at Anfield in October, with more than 27,000 fans having turned out to watch the fixture last season

The Reds will host Everton in L4 on Sunday, October 15, with the game set to kick off at 2pm. The kick-off time is, however, subject to change if the game is selected for TV broadcast. More than 27,000 fans flocked to Anfield last September to watch the two sides go head to head in the Women's Super League, with the Blues running out 3-0 winners.

The reverse fixture at Goodison Park also attracted a record crowd of 22,161 as Matt Beard's side held the hosts to a 1-1 draw in March. And Beard is delighted fans will have the opportunity to see another huge women’s game on Merseyside, especially following the exploits of the Lionesses in reaching the final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.READ MORE: Integral Liverpool Women midfielder pens new contract in another major boost for team ahead of WSL season “It’s a fantastic game for us to look forward to," Beard said. "I’m sure everyone has been thrilled to watch England do so well in the World Cup so this is a wonderful opportunity for the fans to come together for a massive game right here on Merseyside. “Anfield was a terrific experience with a wonderful crowd last year and of course we’ll be looking to draw upon the experience of last year and learn from that.” Tickets for the fixture will cost just £10 for adults with kids and concessions paying just £1. The stadium will be sold stand by stand according to demand with lower sections of the Sir Kenny Dalglish stand and The Kop going on sale first. Full details will be available in the formal selling notice to follow with LFC Women season ticket holders entitled to a free seat while a priority sale will also be held for Anfield season ticket holders and LFC members.
