B&M's new mirror could be easily mistaken for the more expensive alternative
B&M shoppers could save money when redecorating their home by picking up a 'traditional' decorative piece that could easily be mistaken for something more expensive .
One of the latest mirrors to land on the B&M website could pass for a product worth over £130 at Dusk. The Wooden Multistep Mirror is a recent addition to the B&M website, offering a more budget-friendly alternative for those who admire the look of Dusk homeware. B&M described the £40 mirror as 'a traditional wooden frame mirror, with stepped finish, adding style to any space in your home'.
The discount retailer suggests the freestanding mirror would look 'ideal hallways and living rooms'. However, shoppers could easily style this piece in other rooms throughout the home — including dining rooms and bedrooms. The Dusk version , available exclusively online, is currently on sale for £115, reduced from £135. Compared to the £40 B&M option , shoppers who opt for the high street alternative could save nearly £100 on something that looks virtually the same, reports the Mirror .
The Lennon Arched Full Length Wood Mirror comes in either a deeper walnut shade or a lighter wood tone, both available at the same reduced price. Describing it on their website, the brand said: 'Make a statement from floor to ceiling with the Lennon Arched Full Length Mirror.
'Crafted from solid pine wood, the Lennon mirror features a beautifully elongated arched frame that brings softness and height to any space. Available in a light wood finish for an airy, Scandinavian feel, or a deeper walnut tone for something richer and more dramatic, it's designed to complement both relaxed and refined interiors alike.
' Both mirrors feature a wooden effect, though B&M's is available in only a single colour. The pricier mirror from Dusk measures 180cm in height and 60cm in width, but B&M's Wooden Multistep Mirror doesn't have its dimensions listed online. To get a better comparison, shoppers will need to find a mirror in one of B&M's stores throughout the UK. B&M doesn't provide standard online home delivery for regular in-store products, having discontinued a trial of this service in 2023.
Certain B&M branches may offer third party services to help customers with bulky purchases. Shoppers should ask about this in-store, as availability and costs differ by location. A spokesperson for B&M said: 'B&M do not operate an online ordering facility for groceries, furniture and houseware products. For large furniture items or bulky gardening products, home delivery can be arranged.
'Please ask in store for more details and prices. Any free delivery options advertised on the above third-party websites apply to online orders only, and only if the specified conditions of sale are met .
