Livingston marked their return to the Scottish Championship with a comfortable win that consigned Dunfermline Athletic to a fourth straight defeat this season.
Scott Pittman, the midfielder who will celebrate 10 years with the club this season, slammed the hosts ahead in the second half following an intense period of pressure on the Dunfermline backline. A second goal appeared likely and it came from a familiar source in Stephen Kelly. The midfielder was played in unselfishly by Lewis Smith after wonderful work down the left-hand side.
