From new overdraft fees to changes to using your card abroad
Several major banks including Lloyds, First Direct, and Barclays are implementing significant changes which are set to affect millions of their customers throughout this month.
The majority faced a standard charge of 39.9 per cent, while others suffered a more steep 49.9% rate, and particular Club Lloyds members benefited from a lower 27.5 per cent. First Direct From August 10, First Direct will cease sending text messages containing balance information. Customers will need to utilise the bank's app or online service to check their balances.
