Pike Road High School Robotics and STEM teacher, Catherine Kenny, got the opportunity of a lifetime with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Catherine was nominated by a coworker and chosen to fly with the Blue Angels at Maxwell Airforce Base ahead of this weekend’s air show.
“When we flipped backwards and we experienced 7.8 Gs, that was pretty awesome,” stated Catherine Kenny after her ride with the Blue Angels. Even though she has done so much for her community and students, she never thought she would ever be selected for this amazing opportunity.
