During the storm, the family took shelter near their home. But the next morning, they woke up to the devastation. “All of my furniture was soaking wet, appliances were all wet, my washer was smashed,” said Michelle. “We are just happy to know that the work we do provides the help that people need to get their lives back on track and get back to some normalcy in their lives,” said FEMA spokesperson Nicole Wilson.
