A sign at London Euston station will be corrected after the wording was seen to ignore one of Liverpool's proudest achievements
A sign at London Euston station is set to be changed after it was pointed out for overlooking one of Manchester's most celebrated historical moments. A sharp-eyed traveller voiced his concerns about the sign, which promotes the High Speed 2 rail project at London Euston.
However, the observant commuter highlighted that the hoarding's phrasing suggests Britain's inaugural intercity train embarked on its maiden voyage in 1838 from Euston to Birmingham, which is incorrect.
