BAFTA award-winning Ustwo denies that the union organiser was leaving the company because of its attitude towards unions.
The HR email cited by the union added:"It feels that Austin is a self appointed bastion of change and sometimes speaks on behalf of others," which IWGB argued was"the very definition of a trade union representative".
"Austin, a US national, was brought to the UK by Ustwo almost two years ago on a Tier 2 Visa, which could be put at risk by the termination of his contract," the union added. "I would call on Ustwo to reinstate Austin and to engage constructively with all their workers," Mr Sobel continued.
