A firefighter has set a world record for running the London Marathon in full uniform while using an air tank.Breathing using the tank strapped to his back, he had to have his tank changed every two miles.
The firefighter, who is based at Dearne Fire Station, also set the half-marathon world record in 2:16:26.The firefighter, based in South Yorkshire, said it was "uncomfortable" "The kit that we wear is incredible, but it's not ideal for running a marathon," he told BBC Radio Sheffield.
