“Our capital’s Pride celebrations were a huge success and I can’t wait to see what the Pride in London team have planned for 2024,” said Mr Khan.communities and it’s vital that we celebrate this diversity, while continuing to champion LGBTQI+ rights through events like Pride. “The march of solidarity and celebration is one of the reasons that London is renowned across the globe as a beacon of inclusion and diversity and, by continuing to work together, will help us to build a better London for all.”The parade begins at midday at Hyde Park Corner, finishing at Whitehall Place at 6pm, meaning there’s plenty of time to catch the action.The Pride team claims this year’s Trafalgar Square stage will be “bigger and more vibrant than ever”.
This area will open at midday and close at 6pm and features musical bingo, Singalong Kidz Kabaret, Drag Queen Story Hour, and even a parade with a stiltwalker.The 2020 London Pride parade route begins at Hyde Park Corner at midday and makes its way down through Piccadilly Circus, down Haymarket, along Pall Mall to Trafalgar Square, ending at Whitehall Place.The sun may be hiding behind a cloud, but temperatures will remain high, peaking at 24°C at 7pm on Saturday.
