However, the day took a turn when a confrontation occurred between two women, prompting the center to close for the remainder of the day.
An IRS field assistant addressed the crowd, informing them that appointments would resume on Monday, with walk-ins accepted on Tuesday. Despite attempts to seek clarification on the situation, the assistant directed inquiries to the IRS media department. The center remained closed for the remainder of the day, leaving many taxpayers uncertain about their refund status.
