One of the conditions for TGA approved use of psychedelic drugs to treat mental health is “long term monitoring”, says Brain & Mind Centre Co-Director Professor Ian Hickie.

“Whoever gets these substances, the doctor who prescribes, or the clinic who provides it, will be responsible for reporting to the TGA what actually happens,” Mr Hickie told Sky News Australia.“We simply need to know – not just is there short term benefit, but is there any long term harm.”
