Pete claims he could buy an Aston Martin if he sold his 3,000 piece collection
, lives in your ordinary bungalow in a quiet residential street, but behind the walls of his home lies a treasure trove of memorabilia., started collecting the items in 2008 when he picked up a model truck from a showground and discovered it would sell for £80. He previously told the: “I then paid 50p for a tray at another showground and found it's worth £1,600, that was it then. I started collecting properly from 2010.
Over the years Pete claims he has spent"thousands" on his collectables. He said:"I had all of it valued in 2013 when I had around 800 items at £125,000. There are 3,000 items now. I have stuff in cupboards and everything. "Some of the bottles that I have go for £100 each, people have offered me money for things but I don’t want to sell them. If I sold all this I would be able to buy an Aston Martin.”
Pete said collecting memorabilia makes him “happy.” He added: “The males in our family had heart problems, they died aged 59- 60. I’ve made it to 71, and going round looking at stuff it's an interest that keeps me going. It makes me happy.” But the most ironic thing is, Pete doesn’t even drink Coca-Cola.
