Inside luxury cruise ship docked in Glasgow for a year as Azamara Quest returns to the Clyde 🛳
One of three luxury cruise liners which spent over a year docked in Glasgow during covid recently made its return to Scotland's west coast.
In that time the ships and their crew developed a real affinity with Glasgow and its people, hundreds of whom lined the banks of the Clyde when the trio finally departed the city in 2021. Last week we reported on how that sail away 'pulled at the heartstrings' of Azamara Quest captain Johannes Tysse, who admitted it was a bittersweet moment for the ship to finally depart Glasgow.
And we popped on board for the day to have a look around and see what life would have been like for the staff who were on the ship while it sat still for months in the dock at Shieldhall.
