It’s a first in P-pop history as SB19’s Pablo, BGYO’s Gelo, BINI’s Jhoanna, Alamat’s Mo, MNL48’s Sheki, 1st. One’s Ace, VXON’s C13, KAIA’s Angela, G22’s AJ, and Press Hit Play’s Chrls joined forces in the digital cover of a local magazine. | HMallorcaINQ

“All eyes on P-Pop royalty. It’s a P-Pop renaissance, and here to dispel the comparisons, give their two cents on the music industry, break apart any toxic fan culture, and lead the P-Pop rise are no other than these 10 leaders of the most popular P-Pop acts in the country,” the caption read.In a separate post, the P-pop idols were seen prancing on a white background, striking different poses in front of the camera.

“Are you seated for this? These 10 P-Pop leaders are here to lead the pack for a new wave in Philippine pop culture. No frills, no fuss. Only a shared goal for the P-Pop rise,” the caption read.As seen in the feature, the P-pop stars also had solo covers, where they shared their experiences about being the leaders of their respective groups and their thoughts on the “P-pop Rise” movement.

The cover happened to be released just days before the three-day P-pop Convention which will take place this month, after being rescheduled due to “logistical concerns.” Aside from the featured stars, SB19’s Josh and Ken , PPop Generation, Dione, Calista, Yes My Love, and HORI7ON will be performing at the event’s culminating concert on July 16.

Meanwhile, Daydream, Dione, R Rules, Mona, Valfer, VER5U5, Yara, Yes My Love, Z2Z, SMS, BLVCK FLOWERS, Eclipse, 6Sense, and Skouts will be performing at the two-day convention.is their way of showing what the country’s music industry can offer.“Na-create namin ang 1Z for everyone to grow as one big tree. “We’re so happy about [being seen as one of the top P-pop groups]. Natutuwa kami na nasasama kami sa mga sinasabing nagpapa-usad ng P-pop. Dati, pinapangarap lang namin ‘yun. Ngayon, kasama na namin ang ibang idols na hinahangaan ko before. Tuwang-tuwa kami na dumadami na ang P-pop groups at masarap sa feeling na may kasabay ka na para i-angat ang OPM ,” he said.
