The popular ITV show, which has been on air for 24 years, is about to be shaken up

Fans of Loose Women will notice a huge shakeup to the popular lunchtime show's format later this week.

The ITV programme features four female panellists who interview celebrities and discuss aspects of their lives. Each episode also sees the women talk about topical issues ranging from politics and current affairs to celebrity gossip and entertainment news.READ MORE: Coronation Street fans thrilled as 'Eva and Aidan' return to our screens

Instead of four female presenters, there will just be two: Denise Welch and Judi Love, who will be joined by male counterparts Love Island's Iain Stirling and Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley. Ahead of the episode, Denise said: “We’re delighted to be able to mix it up with a special Loose Women & Men episode, it’ll be a hoot with us all on a panel together!

"Richard and Iain are two generations of the modern man and we can’t wait to hear their takes on some classic Loose topics in the studio.”Receive newsletters with the biggest and breaking TV and showbiz news by signing up here
