Ruth did not appear on Monday's episode of Loose Women
Loose Women panelist Ruth Langsford has received support from fans after sharing she is suffering with the "lurgy".
The 63-year-old took to Instagram on Monday as she made herself a remedy. Ahead of the popular lunchtime show airing, she shared a video as she combined a number of ingredients in a cafetiere. Ruth said: "Got the Lurgy! So I’ve made myself a hot toddy and I’m going back to bed! Lemon, orange, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, honey and a big splosh of Irish whiskey."Let’s hope this does the trick….if nothing else it should help me sleep!"
Fans were quick to send well-wishes as Julie said: "Hope it works and you feel better soon xx" and Helen said: "hope you feel better soon". Rory said: "Oh dear Ruth, hope you are feeling better soon! That's certainly one way to do it" .Loose Women fans are being treated to an extra 15 minutes of the programme today due to some bank holiday TV schedule changes.
