A Loose Women star has brutally called out 'horrible' celebrities in the industry who 'nobody likes working with', while detailing her thoughts during award ceremonies
Loose Women star Frankie Bridge took an unexpected attack on "horrible" celebrities as she opened up about the industry. The Saturdays singer, 35, detailed sitting at award ceremonies, watching the winners "that everyone in the room hates working with". Frankie, who first rose to fame in the teen pop group S Club Juniors, made the surprising remarks during a conversation with Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews on his Big Fish podcast.
It kicked off as they talked about working in the industry and how you needed to be "easy to work with" in order to bag the jobs. Spencer said: "Some people have reputations for being really horrible people and I’ve always found it incredibly odd that people would continue to work with horrible people." Frankie continued the conversation and added: "I think that’s been one of my biggest things over the years, is that I’ve met a lot of those people.
During the early days of her career when she joined S Club 8 in 2001, otherwise known as S Club Juniors, Frankie said she was given a valuable piece of advice from former music artist Simon Fuller. She recalled: "I remember when I finished with S Club Juniors, Simon Fuller said to me, 'Always continue to be good to work with, like you are, because everyone’s always going to then continue to want to work with you,' and it really stuck with me.
This led Frankie to admit that there are people in the industry who are "hated" or not liked while ensuring she didn't drop any names. She said: "I’ve had moments throughout my career… you know, you always say the good guy comes out on top, and I think as I got older, I was like, 'That’s not actually necessarily true,' and it really p****d me off.
"Yet they’re all standing up clapping and going, 'Yeah!', and posting about it, and I think that’s what helps me as well, because I know the b******t.' Frankie candidly said she doesn't "buy into" someone being fake and assured she's "aware" of two-faced people in the industry.
