Lorain County Commissioners announced a new transit service that will begin serving the cities of Lorain and Elyria this summer.
ELYRIA, Ohio -
The microtransit service will allow any rider within the designated service zone to book an affordable on-demand ride through an app or by calling a dedicated phone number. Its flexible model will use smaller vehicles to reach areas where large fixed-route buses cannot efficiently serve, according to a press release from Lorain County.
