Lorraine fans in hysterics as Dr Amir Khan's mum Falak calls during live interview
Dr Amir Khan left Lorraine fans cracking up on Tuesday, 10 August, during an interview with Christine Lampard.
Attempting to explain, Dr Amir said: "Oh sorry! That is my mother trying to ring me," as he appeared back on screen, giggling alongside 42 year old Christine. "This is why I don't get any sleep, because my mum calls me all the time!" he added before trying to continue on with the conversation about the study.
A third chimed: "Aww Amir I had to laugh . . [crying with laughter emoji] all us mum's are the same. [grinning emoji] Be thankful she hasn't got an Electronic Tag around your Ankle . . Lol xx.," with a heart decoration emoji. The This Morning co-stars had been staying in a hotel together for work, but were both left blushing when Dr Amir began calling by mistake and left himself in a compromising position.
He joked: "The thing is though, I was on the edge of reporting you to the General Medical Council and maybe having you struck off because you sent an indecent phone call video to my wife whilst working with her. Explain, Ruth."
