Lorraine Kelly has revealed she will be skipping tonight's National Television Awards despite previously being a regular attender of the prestigious awards ceremony
Beloved TV host Lorraine Kelly has confessed she will be opting out of this evening's glitzy National Television Awards, citing a lack of confidence as her reason for giving the star-studded event a miss. The 64 year old, who is a regular on the invite list for the prestigious bash, shared her feelings of intimidation by the red carpet spectacle on her show today.
She continued, offering advice on overcoming those nerves: "But in that moment, it's all about turning that outwards and focusing on conversations that you have with people and what's going on around you. We're all in our own heads worrying about our own stuff.", reports the Mirror. Holly shared: "Body confidence can feel like too big a leap. I like to focus on body acceptance, and that can be just accepting firstly where you're at, focusing on what your body can do, what it has done, all of the good that your body has done. Have fun with it."
Lorraine chimed in with empowering words: "That's how to get exactly what you want. And that example could apply to everything." Highlighting the silver lining, Holly added: "The 'worst' things are often the best things - my 'talks too muchness' is why I'm sat here! ".
