Lorraine Kelly took a moment during her show on Monday to send a heartfelt message to her daughter Rosie. The TV presenter's daughter recently announced her engagement to her partner Steve, and Lorraine couldn't contain her joy as she paused her programme to share the news that the couple are now expecting their first child.
Speaking to Susanna and Adil, Lorraine beamed: "Rosie and her Steve got engaged, which is fantastic - he is wonderful. He asked Steve permission, went down on one knee. It's quite confusing Susanna, it's quite confusing. When I shout Steve they both turn around."Currently enjoying a babymoon, Rosie took to social media to express her joy and surprise at the proposal, posting: "There are too many lovely things going on and I'm not quite sure what to do with myself.
Rosie's mum Lorraine couldn't contain her excitement, taking to the comments section of the heartwarming photo to express her delight at welcoming not just one, but two new family members. She exclaimed: "So happy - it's such lovely news and I will have a son as well as a granddaughter.", reports the Mirror.
