Ventsislav Marginov was returning home from watching a match when James Gelling punched him in the back of the head.

Gelling, who had taken cocaine that night, walked towards Mr Marginov and his group, which included his two sons Hristo and Stanimir, Liverpool Crown Court heard.

The court heard one of Gelling's companions punched one of Mr Marginov's sons before witnesses saw the killer deliver the fatal punch to the back of his victim's head. In a police interview, Gelling told officers:"I'm not arsed if he dies or lives, he's permanently injured, cabbaged, I don't give a f***."
