couples was finally revealed yesterday when the reunion episode hit Netflix and there were some major surprises.
Sadly, there were more break-ups than happy couples as not only did Sabrina Egerton and Steven Smith reveal they’d split in a HUGE shock, but Catherine Richards and Freddie Powell told hosts Emma and Matt Willis that they’d decided to part ways too – shortly after he said “I don’t” on their wedding day.after they were pictured together, however it turns out she’s actually been secretly dating another of her co-stars and they’ve been together for a year.
“So I reached out to him. I hadn't seen him. I only saw Freddie and the couples on the retreat, so I saw him on socials, and I was like, ‘I wonder if he's the one from the show’, so I messaged him. “I was like, ‘hey, like, just want to check in, are you okay?’ Because I was in the girl lounge with his fiancée and I just knew the drama that was going on that was crazy. And he messaged me, and he was like, ‘Who is this?’ And I was like, Cat. And he was like, ‘Oh my God’, because he didn't know what I look like!”After catching up on FaceTime for five hours and speaking “every day for five weeks”, Catherine went to visit Jake for the weekend and the rest, as they say, is history.
