Sabrina Vittoria has opened up about the severe impact her Love is Blind UK split had on her mental health, revealing she was left on medication for depression and anxiety after her brief marriage to Steven Smith ended.
Despite being the first duo to get engaged sight unseen in line with the show's unique concept, and tying the knot in September last year, Sabrina has now shared the emotional turmoil of their separation after just 86 days as husband and wife. The news of their split came to light during a reunion episode aired on Monday, August 26.
She continued, detailing the toll it took on her: "I ended up with diagnosed depression, I was put on anxiety medication for the first time in my life. I wasn't sleeping, I had really bad insomnia."Sabrina also revealed that after the show, Steven quickly distanced himself from their relationship, visiting her in Belfast only a couple of times and giving her short notice that he wouldn't join her for Christmas.
