Love Island 2023 star Ruchee Gurung is heartbroken after her hero dad died just weeks after her Love Island appearance. 'I can’t believe it, my heart is aching so much.'
The 24-year-old beautician shared the devastating news on Instagram alongside a gallery of photos.
She wrote: ‘My Hero ❤️ I can’t believe it, my heart is aching so much. My first love ❤️ I’m so heartbroken. ‘You were the most courageous and selfless man. You never said no to me, it was always “whatever my daughter wants”. You’re the reason I am who I am today, my twin flame ❤️,’ the tribute continued.
‘You were so passionate about what you did. I loved hearing about all your adventurous stories from rescuing climbers on their way up to Everest, to taking a 6-year-old to a monastery so he can fulfill his purpose to become a monk, to flying during a war in‘You taught me to always follow my dreams and to do whatever makes me happy and I’m so so so proud to call you my Baba.‘I’m going to miss you so much, it breaks my heart that you were taken from us so unexpectedly.
