A source said: “Wynne has signed up to Celebrity Masterchef and wants to finish on a high note.
“Fans of the show will be getting to see the real Wynne and not his character Gio Compario who they are used to seeing on the Go Compare adverts. “Wynne has a show on BBC Radio Wales and is a big hit with listeners – so the Beeb wanted to try him out on a big show like Masterchef. “He isn’t the best cook in the world but Wynne is no novice in the kitchen and will be bringing a touch of Welsh influence to his dishes.”
